LEARN TO SWIM
If you are new to the school or our program, please use the Online enquiry form to arrange a grading of your swimmer. All children must be graded before they can be placed into a class.
Our Learn to Swim Program provides swimmers with an opportunity to learn the valuable skills of water safety and fundamental stroke mechanics in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
Our Learn to Swim program is very popular and due to demand, you may be placed on a waiting list. There is always movement as the kids progress in their swimming.
Midweek lessons
We offer Learn to Swim lessons after school and on Saturdays. Each lesson is 30 minutes long. Each child must swim twice per week in the weekday program. We will place them in a class with children who have a similar skill level. You may select the days your child would like to swim but we cannot guaratee they will be avaialble for that day or a particular timeslot but we endeavour to do our best to overlap with siblings in squads but it is not always possible. There will always be schedule changes to your child’s level as they progress particlualry in the first two weeks of term swimming as levels are adjusted to the ability of each swimmer.
Saturday only lessons
If your child would prefer to swim once per week, then they may join our Saturday morning program. Lessons begin from 8.45 am. Each lesson is 30 minutes long. Like the weekday program, the children are placed in classes with children of a similar ability.
We do not allow the combination of a Saturday lesson plus one weekday lesson.
